Uncomplicated ingredients
What goes in a real Cornish pasty? Well for a start they must be made (due to PGI status) in Cornwall. So as we are a micro-bakery in Carradale, Scotland, specialising in this one item, we created our Real Pasty Company.
There are 3 versions, a traditional beef steak in 2 sizes, a plant based garden vegetable and cheese and onion. The traditional steak pasty is pastry, slow cooked beef steak, potato, swede and onion, all seasoned to perfection. We make simple pasties that embody authenticity and quality. We decided to do one product with excellence rather than a range of cakes and pastry goods so the Carradale baked ‘Cornish icon’ is our mission! We don’t travel far for our ingredients (the roads are simply not up to it). We believe that true satisfaction comes from enjoying a pasty that is not only delicious, but also tells a story of craftsmanship and care.

Fresh from the oven REAL PASTIES
Keeping to traditional Cornish pasty ingredients (although doubt the pastry will survive being thrown down a mine shaft), our Carradale micro-bakery keeps things simple.
We are a husband and wife team and you can find more about us on Our Story page.
We only make pasties, that is enough, and we are proud of just that.
